The Diamond Glitch (also known as the Holding n' Talking glitch) is a glitch found in Luigi's Mansion. To be able to do this glitch, Luigi needs to go into The Artist's Studio and capture the Boo inside the room, that should be the 50th and last one of the game: this should reward Luigi with a Gold Diamond. After it is released, Luigi must grab it before E. Gadd calls him. If done correctly, Luigi should then hold the diamond in his hand at the same he's talking to the professor. After the conversation on the GBH ends, Luigi will show the diamond to the screen as if he just obtained it, ending the glitch.

- Although it can be done with other diamonds, this glitch is easier since the Gold Diamond lasts longer than any other diamond.
- This glitch can be actually done also in every other room of the game that has a Boo inside it, if it's going to be Luigi's 50th and last one to capture, as that will always award him with a Gold Diamond.
