A Purple Nintendo GameCube
The Nintendo GameCube (abreviated GCN or NGC) was Nintendo's fourth home console. It was released near the end of 2001. It has four controller ports on the front, two memory card slots, and an Open, Reset, and a Power button. The original name for the GameCube was "Dolphin". The game discs for a GameCube game are a fairly small size, and can hold up to 1.35 GB (1,459,978,240 bytes)
There was an accessory released for the Nintendo GameCube called the Game Boy Player. What it did was allow people to play Game Boy Advance games on their TV screen. Sort of like the Super Gameboy for the SNES. But the Gameboy Player was discontinued in 2007.
The Nintendo GameCube was released in 4 different colors: Purple, Orange Black, and Silver. The main color was Purple, (as seen above), and was the main color used in advertisments. The color Silver was released last, after the first three. The GameCube sold over 20 million units in its lifetime.

Nintendo GameCube Microphone
The GameCube Microphone is an accessory used for the GameCube and the Wii (GCN games). It would plug in to the memory card slot, rather than a controller port.

Nintendo Gamecube Dance Pad
The Nintendo GameCube Dance Pad is a special controller for the Nintendo GameCube. The only game it is used for is Dance Dance Revolution Mario MIx. It has some, but not all, of the Nintendo GameCube Controller's buttons.

The Game disc used on the Nintendo GameCube is smaller than an average disc.
